Possible Stroke Patient at Main Street in Derby Line

At 3:43 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 215 Main Street in Derby Line for a possible stroke. According to initial reports, a 72-year-old man fell to the floor and is unable to move his extremities. Responding units reported that the patient is alert and conscious but unable to move his extremities after the fall. At 3:58 AM, Newport Fire arrived on scene to assist. Additional Newport Fire units arrived at approximately 4:35 AM to assist at the scene. Crews are on scene providing emergency medical care.
