At approximately 11:18 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 3113 U.S. Route 5 in Derby for a medical emergency. Initial reports indicate a 62-year-old male with stage four colorectal cancer and an infection, who was in and out of responsiveness with abnormal skin tone. Crews responded to the scene.
