Police Search for Male Crash Victim on Foot in Brownington

At approximately 12:08 AM, Newport Police responded to the area of Willoughby Lake Road near Whiting Lane in Brownington for a report of a male who was involved in a motor vehicle crash earlier in the day. The male was reportedly on foot and may have a concussion. Police are actively searching the area and he was last seen heading toward Charleston. At 2:05 AM, a Newport Police unit arrived on scene to assist in the search. No further details are available at this time.
