Police Locate Female on Route 5A in Charleston

At approximately 12:13 AM, Newport Police were dispatched to Route 5A in Charleston for a report of a female walking in the area. The female was described as wearing a black shirt, brown jeans, and a hat. She was last seen about one mile from Pepin Road. According to first responders, she was later located on Route 5A near Hudson Road. Vermont State Police were on scene. The scene was cleared shortly after.
