Newport Ambulance unit U-4 was dispatched to transport a patient to North Country Hospital at approximately 10:54 PM on June 1, 2026. The unit reported transporting a patient identified as 18-54, though the nature of the medical condition is not yet known. Earlier, dispatch had indicated the unit would also respond to North Central, but the primary call was the transport. The patient was en route to the hospital without further incident.
