At 8:07 p.m., Orleans Ambulance was dispatched to 28 South Street, Apartment A, in Orleans for a 45-year-old male who scratched a wound near the Wagner's artery on his right leg, resulting in profuse bleeding. First responders reported that the patient had lost a significant amount of blood. A second call crew was requested to assist at the scene. Units responded code 3 and arrived shortly thereafter. The patient was transported to North Country Hospital for further treatment. Additional details are pending.
