At approximately 4:06 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 26 Main Street in Derby Line following reports of a female with red marks covering her neck and experiencing difficulty speaking. Initial reports indicate the individual was having trouble communicating. Responding units were asked to contact dispatch for further details. First responders from Newport Fire and Newport Police also acknowledged the call, with additional units reporting en route. At around 4:22 AM, units arrived on scene and determined they were not needed. The incident has been cleared and units are back in service.
