At approximately 5:20 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash on Route 3 south in Bethlehem near mile marker 142.8. Initial reports indicate a 68-year-old male driver passed out from a medical emergency and crashed into the side of the road, involving two vehicles. The driver has confirmed bleeding, and there are possibly other patients. Bethlehem Fire Department, Bethlehem Ambulance, and Twin Mountain Ambulance are responding with mutual aid. At 5:26 PM, dispatch reported a confirmed gas leakage at the scene. At 5:39 PM, command was established on Route 3. Emergency crews reported two vehicles involved, one with heavy damage and full airbag deployment. Four to five patients are being evaluated, with Twin Mountain Ambulance and Bethlehem Ambulance providing care. The crash vehicle is described as a white Buick Enclave with Massachusetts plates. The scene is active and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
