The Danville Town Green will once again host a free outdoor movie night, this year featuring the classic 1987 film "Dirty Dancing." The event, organized by the community, invites residents and visitors to bring blankets and lawn chairs for an evening under the stars.
Admission is free, and complimentary popcorn will be provided. Additional snacks and drinks will be available by donation. The screening takes place at the historic Town Green at the intersection of U.S. Route 2 and Peacham Road.
Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early, settle in with family and friends, and enjoy a nostalgic summer evening. "Dirty Dancing" tells the story of Frances "Baby" Houseman and dance instructor Johnny Castle set in the summer of 1963.
