At approximately 8:25 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to a medical emergency at 235 Brown Road in Groton for a 72-year-old male who was conscious, breathing, and alert but experiencing indigestion and sweating, indicating a possible heart attack. Groton Ambulance responded and requested mutual aid from Lancaster Ambulance. At 8:32 AM, police on scene reported that the patient stated the pain was getting worse and had just taken nitroglycerin and aspirin. The patient was transported to Weeks Hospital.
