Groton EMS Responds to Medical Call for Cancer Patient

At approximately 5:30 AM, Groton EMS was dispatched to 78 Vance Road in Groton for an 81-year-old female who was conscious, breathing, and alert but experiencing stomach and lower gastrointestinal issues. The patient is a recent colon cancer patient, according to dispatch reports. Twin State Woodsville Ambulance also responded to the scene. Additional units were toned out shortly after. At approximately 5:42 AM, Broad Rescue arrived on the scene. At around 6:05 AM, command advised the situation was under control and crews were preparing one patient for transport.
