At approximately 6:01 PM, emergency crews were dispatched to Wendy's at 187 Waterfront Plaza in Newport for a 40-year-old male experiencing swelling in his feet and a feeling of his throat closing. Newport Ambulance responded to the scene. The patient reported that his feet were swelling and his throat felt like it was closing, indicating a possible allergic reaction.
