This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.

At 11:18 PM, St. Johnsbury Fire and Calex Ambulance were dispatched to 72 Moose River Drive for a 50-year-old female reported to be heavily intoxicated. Just over 25 minutes later, at 11:44 PM, dispatchers requested a second ambulance for a separate patient at the same address, described as a possible overdose. Initial reports from Vermont State Police advised canceling the additional ambulance, but moments later, dispatchers canceled that cancellation, confirming a second patient required transport. The situation remains developing.
