At approximately 12:48 AM Eastern time, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to a medical alarm activation on Pine Hill Road where there was no response. Unit 414 responded and arrived on scene at 12:58 AM. Additional units also arrived. The incident was determined to be an accidental activation of the alarm system, and units returned to service shortly after 1:01 AM. No injuries were reported.
