At approximately 12:20 AM, Capital Dispatch dispatched Montpelier Ambulance to 130 Main Street, the Unitarian Church Overflow Shelter, for a male with difficulty breathing and pain in his ribs and back. Crews responded to the scene. Shortly after, a fire alarm was reported at the same address. Dispatchers confirmed the alarm activation. Multiple units responded. The relationship between the medical call and the fire alarm is under investigation. Further information is awaited.
