Fire Reported at Littleton Laundry on Meadow Street

At approximately 6:14 PM, Littleton Fire was dispatched to Littleton Laundry at 160 Meadow Street for a reported fire. At 6:17 PM, Littleton Engine 1 and Ambulance 3 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, crews reported no smoke coming from the exterior of the building. At 6:20 PM, Engine 1 arrived on scene and reported a large commercial structure with audible alarms, but nothing showing. Crews investigated and found a single unit dryer emitting a small amount of smoke. The fire department worked to resolve the issue. At approximately 6:35 PM, crews reported the appliance was taken out of service, the alarm was reset, and the scene was cleared. No injuries have been reported.
