At approximately 5:33 PM, Whitefield Fire Department responded to a fire alarm activation at the Mountain View Grand Resort, 101 Mountain View Road, in Whitefield. Initial reports indicate the alarm was triggered by a child pulling the alarm, according to a guest. Units arrived on scene and the alarm was held. By 5:36 PM, crews were clearing the scene. No further details are available at this time.
