At 3:40 PM, Whitefield Fire Department and Whitefield Ambulance were dispatched to 28 Union Street for a fire alarm activation that showed in the basement. According to NORPAC dispatch, the caller reported feeling lightheaded after entering the basement, prompting concerns of a possible carbon monoxide leak. An evacuation of the building is in progress. Units are on scene investigating the source of the alarm and the occupant's symptoms.
