At 12:55 AM, Rumney Fire Department and Dalton Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at 29 Jefferson Ave. in a housing complex in Rumney, New Hampshire. At 1:11 AM, an engine from Dalton Fire was reported moving on scene. Fire crews are investigating the activation.

At around 1:24 AM, crews reported they were still on scene and attempting to contact building maintenance. At 1:33 AM, an engine cleared from the scene but remained on standby awaiting key holders.

At approximately 2:12 AM, a dispatcher noted that the alarm would remain in trouble until later this morning and that a local outlet had been notified of the problem. The situation remains ongoing.
