At approximately 1:44 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to 13 Church Street, Unit 2 in Newport City for a reported structure fire. According to initial reports, Newport Police requested a unit to respond with lights and sirens and assist with evacuation of the station. A working fire rescue response was initiated, and additional units were requested. Details on injuries or occupancy are currently unknown.
