At 7:28 PM, emergency dispatchers received a report of a drug offense and welfare check at the beach access of Martin Meadow Pond. The caller reported a mother engaging in drug use while her daughter was running around in the parking area. A dark blue Dodge sedan was observed at the scene. Units responded, with one unit en route southbound on Route 2. Dispatch inquired about the substance, noting the caller was unsure if it was marijuana. Further updates are pending.
