This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.

At 10:10 PM, Littleton Police were dispatched to a welfare check on the Riverwalk near the Sunshine Bridge, close to the Saranac Street side. A caller reported an elderly woman sleeping along the path, appearing very frail and possibly suffering from dementia. The woman was wrapped in something, and officers were dispatched to assist.

At 10:22 PM, a responding officer reported repositioning to the walking trail between the covered bridge and the suspension bridge near lot B to search for the woman. The search continued for several minutes. At 10:39 PM, the officer advised that the call could be cleared, as the last reported sighting of the woman had occurred hours earlier and there was no current need for emergency services. The incident was logged as cleared at 10:41 PM.
