At approximately 9:41 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash notification on Vermont Route 122 in Sheffield. The alert came from a Life360 crash detection system that reported no voice contact from the vehicle. Initial reports indicated unknown damages and unknown occupants. Sheffield Fire Department and Lyndon Rescue responded to the area of 4354 Vermont Route 122.
After further investigation, police made contact with the subscriber of the vehicle. The subscriber confirmed there was no crash and the vehicle had not left the roadway. The call was subsequently cancelled and all units stood down. No injuries or damages were reported.
