At 10:17 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 35 Nashville Hill in Coventry for a report of a 45-year-old male who was not verbally responsive. Bystanders administered two doses of Narcan, and the patient was reported to have a pulse and to be breathing normally, though he had reportedly hit his head several times. At 10:23 AM, dispatchers advised that the patient was being moved to the floor to begin CPR, as he was snoring and had a purple discoloration in his lips and fingertips. A second ambulance was requested to the scene. Multiple units were on scene at 10:30 AM. No further details on the patient's condition were immediately available.
