At 10:26 AM on Thursday, emergency responders were dispatched to 109 Railroad Street, Apartment 8 in Brighton for a 52-year-old female who was eating and had food stuck in her throat. According to initial reports, the woman was able to breathe and talk. At 10:37 AM, Newport Ambulance unit 5 arrived on the scene. The incident was quickly resolved and the scene was cleared.
