At approximately 9:55 PM Friday, emergency responders were dispatched to 2471 Willoughby Lake Road in Brownington for a report of a car versus pedestrian. According to initial dispatch reports, Vermont State Police requested EMS to the scene. Newport Police and Orleans Ambulance were among the units responding. At approximately 10:10 PM, a second crew was requested for additional support. Details on the condition of the pedestrian or the driver were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
