GREENSBORO, Child Haven International will hold a benefit event July 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Highland Center for the Arts.
The evening includes the U.S. premiere of “Lotus,” a short film by local filmmaker Avani Pisapati, and a second short film about Child Haven's mission. An exhibit of Tibetan Buddhist thangka paintings will be available for viewing and purchase, and a bazaar will offer handcrafted goods, clothing, statues and cultural items sourced from communities surrounding Child Haven's homes.
An Indian dinner prepared by the Highland Arts Center chefs is available with advance ticket purchase. Dinner tickets will be available soon at highlandartsvt.org. More information is at childhaven.ca, or by calling (802) 533-2296.
