82-Year-Old Woman with Severe Vein Bleeding in St. Johnsbury

At approximately 2:42 a.m. Tuesday, emergency crews were dispatched to 985 US Route 2 East in St. Johnsbury for an 82-year-old female with a vein laceration that was bleeding profusely. Initial reports indicated the address as 978, but dispatchers clarified the correct location is 985. St. Johnsbury Fire Department and Calex Ambulance responded to the scene. The patient's condition is under assessment.
