At 8:59 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 299 Highland Avenue for an 82-year-old female who fell down the stairs. She was conscious and alert but bleeding from the head. Responders were advised of water building up on the road and to use caution. At 9:07 PM, Newport 9 confirmed they were on scene. At 9:35 PM, ambulance 24-1 began transporting the patient to North Country Hospital. At 9:58 PM, all units cleared the scene.
