78-Year-Old Woman in Cardiac Arrest on Camp Elizabeth Way

At approximately 8:04 PM on May 30, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 138 Camp Elizabeth Way in Newport City for a report of an unconscious female not breathing. The patient, a 78-year-old woman, was found in cardiac arrest and bystanders had begun CPR. Multiple units responded, including Newport Police and additional ambulance crews. A medic unit was requested to expedite transport to the hospital, as the situation was described as time-sensitive. CPR efforts continued as of the latest reports.
