Unresponsive Female Found in Vehicle at Walmart Parking Lot

At approximately 6:45 PM, Newport Ambulance and police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot in Newport for a report of an unresponsive female. According to initial reports, the woman was found unresponsive in a blue Ford F-150. A dog was also in the vehicle. Responders arrived and searched the area but were unable to locate the described vehicle. At approximately 6:55 PM, police reported they were clearing the call and returning to service. The circumstances remain under investigation.
