Tristram Gray Chase Jensvold, known as T, Tris, or TJ, died at age 47. He was born August 3, 1978, in Burlington, Vt., and spent his early years on the Danville Morgan Horse Farm before moving to a log cabin overlooking Joe's Pond in Danville.
He attended Danville schools, learned to ski at Burke Mountain, and graduated from Mount Mansfield Union High School in 1996. After studying at Champlain College, he entered sales, where he was described as charming and successful.
Jensvold was an avid traveler, inspired by his grandmother Barbara Winthrop Coffin Jones. His travels included the Swiss Alps, Dubai, and numerous tropical destinations. He moved to Southern California in the mid-2000s, where he met Daniella Dimase, originally of Rome, Italy. They married in an Italian castle north of Rome in 2009. He returned to Vermont in 2016, living in Danville before moving to Nashville, Tenn., in 2023.
He is survived by his mother, Candis Chase Leopold (James Leopold) of Malletts Bay, Vt.; his father, Christopher Jensvold (Betsy Bamford) of Jericho, Vt.; his sister, Kaetlin Jensvold (Hal Reuling), and their children, Henry Reuling and Summer Grace Reuling, of Northern California; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jensvold enjoyed outdoor activities including snowmobiling, horseback riding, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, sailing, and was known for his loyalty to friends and love of animals, especially his dog Paco.
