At approximately 5:07 PM, emergency crews responded to a report of a tree hanging on wires at the intersection of West Bath Road and Pettyboro Road in Bath, New Hampshire. According to first responders, the tree was hanging 15 to 20 feet in the air, with wires also on the ground. Further assessment determined it was a guidewire, with no power lines down. At approximately 6:15 PM, Eversource personnel arrived on scene and began closing West Bath Road to traffic. Crews anticipate being on scene for about an hour and 20 minutes.
At approximately 6:43 PM, all Bath emergency units were cleared from the scene, resolving the incident.
