At approximately 2:21 PM, police were notified of a downed telephone line at 164 Mountain Road in Dalton. According to first responders, the main line was ripped completely apart and sagging into the roadway. A truck was unable to clear the line. Crews pulled the downed piece out of the road, reopening it, and contacted the utility company for repairs. No injuries were reported.
