At approximately 4:52 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash involving a deer on U.S. Route 5 near 3286 in Barnet. According to initial reports, a vehicle struck a deer, causing airbag deployment. Two occupants were in the vehicle; a 39-year-old female reported pain. The other occupant was not injured. Calex Ambulance responded to the scene.
