At approximately 12:05 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Smith Hill Road and Route 114 in Burke for a single-car motor vehicle accident. Initial reports indicate the vehicle went off the roadway and down an embankment. At 12:14 AM, additional units were dispatched, including East Burke Fire Department, West Burke Fire Department, and Lyndon Rescue. According to first responders, the vehicle came to rest on its wheels on the embankment. One occupant was out of the vehicle and was supporting his wrist, suggesting a possible injury. Lyndon Rescue 92 was among the responding units. Further details are limited at this time.
