At 7:29 PM, emergency dispatch received a report of a possible overdose at Ray's Market, located at 96 Park Avenue in Irasburg. A male was reportedly walking hunched over around a Ford pickup, while a female was passed out in the passenger seat. Units from Orleans Ambulance and Danville Fire responded to the scene.

At 7:33 PM, a second tone was dispatched for additional resources. Crews arrived and found two patients in a gray Ford pickup. Shortly after, at 7:38 PM, responders reported that the male was awake but the female remained unresponsive. The sheriff's department and Vermont State Police were also notified.

At 7:40 PM, Orleans 2 arrived on scene. At approximately 8:00 PM, Orleans 2 and Orleans 4 cleared the scene with no transport, indicating no patients were taken to the hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
