Peacham Library shares firsthand accounts of town's earliest years

The Peacham Library has published a piece featuring the firsthand accounts of Jonathan Elkins Jr., providing a window into the town's earliest years. The writings, drawn from historical records, offer a personal perspective on the settlement and development of Peacham in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

The article, titled "In His Own Words: Jonathan Elkins Jr.’s firsthand accounts of Peacham’s earliest years," was released by the library as part of its local history efforts.
