Odor Investigation on Wayford Lane in Burke

At 10:04 PM, East Burke Fire Department and West Burke Fire Department were dispatched to 166 Wayford Lane in Burke for an odor investigation. Multiple units responded.

At 10:14 PM, residents reported that they had left the house and returned to a strong smell of eggs, and found that a burner on the gas stove had been left on. Fire crews investigated and confirmed the source. At 10:23 PM, Burke C1 advised the incident was under control, and crews were in the process of ventilating the residence.
