This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.

At 9:08 AM, Newbury EMS and Woodsville Ambulance were dispatched to 69 U.S. Route 5 South in Newbury for a 53-year-old female who fell and sustained a hip injury. Additional units, including Curry M1 and Newbury M1, also responded. At 9:26 AM, dispatch requested additional manpower for extrication at the same location, indicating the patient may have become trapped. However, at 9:32 AM, Newbury K1 arrived on scene and advised that responding fire units could cancel, suggesting the extrication was no longer required or was handled by EMS. At 9:47 AM, Woodsville Ambulance 1 marked a 20-minute operational update. At approximately 9:58 AM, K1 advised that the patient was loaded and all fire units were clear. At 10:06 AM, MS units declared the scene in Newbury. The patient was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for further care. Further details are pending.
