At approximately 8:57 PM, Littleton Police were alerted to a potential mental health concern involving Jacob Shiken at Littleton Regional Hospital. According to dispatchers, Shiken was being discharged from the hospital and has been calling from a phone in the ED lobby. He reportedly lives at the Morrison Nursing Home. Police are unsure if this is a mental health issue. Units are responding to assess the situation.
At approximately 9:20 PM, dispatchers reported that the hospital had cleared and that personnel would be working on the issue with the patient.
