At approximately 12:27 a.m. on Monday, June 1, emergency crews were dispatched to 46 Howhill Road in Benton for a medical emergency involving an 18-month-old female. According to first responders, the child was knocked backward by a dog, after which her eyes rolled back and she went stiff. The child was conscious and breathing but not acting correctly. Twin State Woodsville Ambulance responded and transported the child to Littleton Regional Hospital. At 12:45 a.m., ambulance crews reported arriving at the hospital.
At 1:42 a.m., the transporting ambulance cleared Littleton Regional Hospital and returned to service.
