At approximately 2:30 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to River Glen House at 55 River Glen Lane in Littleton for a medical emergency involving a 92-year-old female who was conscious but not alert, combative, and agitated, with a possible urinary tract infection, according to dispatch communications.
At 2:33 AM, dispatch advised that the patient had pushed a staff member and requested police assistance, but no police unit was immediately available. Ambulance A3 was responding at that time. The ambulance crew was given discretion to proceed.
By 3:06 AM, ambulance A3 was transporting the patient to Littleton Regional Hospital. Engine 1 cleared the scene, according to first responders.
