At approximately 8:25 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to 1280 Cottage Road in Averill for a medical emergency. Initial reports indicate a male was experiencing side pain and had begun vomiting. Newport Police and Morgan Rescue were dispatched under emergency status. At approximately 8:56 AM, Newport 10 reported being on scene. Further details are limited at this time.
