Medical Call for Fall in Concord

At approximately 12:59 AM, Calex Ambulance and Concord Rescue were dispatched to P.E. Drive in Concord for a 65-year-old female who fell down stairs and sustained a possible head injury. At 1:26 AM, emergency crews requested additional manpower, reporting that the patient had sustained a serious head injury. At 1:31 AM, further manpower was requested at the scene. At approximately 1:38 AM, a medical helicopter was requested to transport the patient but was unable to fly due to low fuel on its only available aircraft. First responders remain on scene.
