At 2:16 AM, Whitefield Ambulance and emergency crews were dispatched to 43 Crane Road in Whitefield for a medical call. According to initial reports, a 63-year-old male was conscious and alert but experiencing difficulty breathing and chest pain. NORPAC Whitefield Ambulance responded to the scene. At 2:30 AM, Whitefield Ambulance 1 requested a medic intercept from Lancaster Ambulance and also asked for the fire department to assist with patient removal. The Whitefield Fire Department was subsequently toned to the scene at 2:31 AM. By 2:37 AM, Whitefield K-1 arrived on scene. Fire department further assistance was not needed. At 2:46 AM, NORPAC advised Whitefield Ambulance that the patient had been loaded and crews were evaluating. At 2:56 AM, Whitefield Ambulance 1 began transporting the patient to Weeks Medical Center. At 2:57 AM, Whitefield Fire Department units cleared the scene and returned to service. Further details are pending.
