Medical call for chest pain on Maple Street in St. Johnsbury

At approximately 3:10 AM, St. Johnsbury Fire Department was dispatched to 82 Maple Street for a 48-year-old male experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing. According to initial reports, the patient has a cardiac history and had taken two nitroglycerin tablets without relief. Emergency responders arrived on scene and assessed the patient.

At around 3:35 AM, the patient was transported by Vermont Air Rescue helicopter for further medical treatment. The extent of the patient's condition has not yet been released.
