Medical Call and Crash on Mechanic Street

At approximately 2:28 PM, Lancaster Ambulance was dispatched to 52 Mechanic Street for an 80-year-old male with difficulty breathing. The patient has a history of COPD. Shortly after, a minor motor vehicle collision involving a blue BMW and a gray Honda Pilot occurred in the same area; no injuries were reported. As of 2:52 PM, responders were on scene obtaining vital signs and were approximately 20 minutes into the call. Crews are continuing to assess the situation.
