At approximately 11:43 AM, Lancaster authorities received a report of low-hanging telephone wires on Portland Street. The caller stated that the wires were hanging low enough to strike the top of their vehicle. A follow-up dispatch confirmed the wires are telephone lines associated with pole number 13. Utility crews have been notified and are responding to the scene. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
