The Glover Select Board looked ahead at its June 11 meeting, addressing preparations for Glover Day, upcoming renovations to municipal buildings, and the latest on the Shadow Lake dam.

Before discussing official business, board chair Adam Heuslein reminded those present that “these meetings are in the public, not of the public.” Noting that only reporters and town police were in attendance, he said the board will begin enforcing that rule more strictly. “We will start enforcing that more, because we’re not going to continue to have midnight meetings, so we are going to have public comment at the start,” Heuslein said. He added that the board will address public comments at the end of each meeting and will not tolerate interruptions that prevent it from conducting business.

NEK will be looking into the select board's enforcement of public comment policies and the status of the Shadow Lake dam.
